What To Bring
You should bring with you any food or drink you would like. Sunblock, cameras, hats and sunglasses are also recommended. I have some umbrellas and ponchos available. You may like to bring your own if there is a chance of rain.
No worries about seasickness. We will fish only calm waters if you prefer. With the Carolina Skiff we can drive right up to an uninhabited barrier island like Bird Island shown below and take a short walk on the beach.
The SCDNR has a great program set in place to build the artificial reefs in the state of SC. Our nearest to shore artificial reef off Little River Inlet is called the Jim Caudle reef.
Since I scuba dive the reefs often I get to see where the fish like to hang out. Check out these pictures taken in Novomber 2007.
This was an amazing experience for my family! Captain Ryan was able to assist everyone in my family with baiting and unhooking, was very knowledgeable of locations and all of the kinds of fish. His Myrtle Beach fishing tour was well worth the money and provided an unforgettable day of memories.
The coolest thing my family (of 6) and I have ever done. Captain Ryan is so knowledgeable, we had at least one fish on a line at all times! We saw a giant tiger shark too and caught it on video!! 10/10 would absolutely recommend this Myrtle Beach fishing charter!! Thank you so much & we will be back! You made our vacation!
Great Captain, Great Experience!! We have been fishing for the past nine years with Captain Ryan. He always seems to know just where the fish are and what baits they are looking for. Fun for the whole family — You will NOT be disappointed with Werner Ocean Adventures LLC!!
This was our 2nd Myrtle Beach fishing trip with Captain Ryan, and already looking forward to a third. Caught a variety of fish like Spanish mackerel, sharpnose shark, and barracuda.
Great Day Fishing
Our group of 4 including 2 teenagers had a great outing on 12/229/17 a cold day but we got 7 black drum and a few catfish. All of our group had an awesome time and can’t wait to go again. Would highly recommend Cpt Ryan.
Had a great time out on the water. Capt. Ryan is really good and tries to put you on the fish. We had caught a nice flounder and red drum for dinner, and lost a nice sized fish out by the jetties. Can’t wait to book another trip.
Cold…but great time!!
We had fun with Captain Ryan. March Break was a little colder than anticipated but Captain Ryan was flexible with his time so we didn’t have to wear our parkas. We had a boat of 6 and we all caught something. A lot of fish and crab to eat for the whole family.
Spent the morning out with Capt Ryan. Great Myrtle Beach fishing trip! Fish were not biting all that well, but we tried about everything you could to get some fish. A+ for effort! Will sure be back to try again sometime!
Had a blast, caught a variety of fish, and was very helpful even with 3 kids aboard ! Will definitely be coming back next time in Myrtle Beach!
Best fishing trip ever! caught 22 black drum averaging 6-7 pounds and some even bigger!
Captain Ryan is the best! We have 4 daughters between the ages of 6 and 10 and Captain Ryan did an excellent job finding the best fishing spots and giving us all an exceptional experience. We could not believe the huge fish we pulled in one after the next (22 in all!) and all the girls were able to “reel in a big one.” He also brought us out to a shrimp boat to see dolphins and to an island to look for shells. He is far more experienced and knowledgeable than any of the other fishing captains our family has had (we’ve had several). We would highly recommend him. He does a perfect job providing the charter fishing trip that is tailored to your preference. Our family has gone on more than one trip with him and he is the best, hands down.
